Bringing together an international team of audio engineers and design professionals with decades of industry experience, Violet Audio was founded on the belief that the mixing experience should be as intuitive and expressive as the music itself. Its approach is centered on bridging the gap between technical complexity and creative flow, combining deep professional audio expertise with intelligent control, AI integration and a new approach to system design.

At the heart of this philosophy is dMix128, a professional mixing platform and high-performance digital audio matrix designed to give engineers the processing power and flexibility to handle complex systems without compromising audio quality or responsiveness. Rather than relying on a dedicated console surface, dMix128 separates processing from control and automation, giving users greater freedom over how and where the system is operated. 

Engineers, venue staff and presenters can all control the same mixer at once using browsers, Q-SYS, Crestron, TouchOSC or automated systems. Its deterministic architecture keeps every parameter synchronized in real time, allowing multiple users and control systems to work together without conflicts.

Native Model Context Protocol (MCP) support extends that flexibility to compatible AI tools, helping users streamline configuration, diagnostics and routine workflows. For example, engineers can use natural-language commands to identify active AES67 streams or configure processing for a vocal channel, reducing the need to navigate multiple menus or separate network tools.

Behind this flexible control environment is a high-performance audio engine. Its 128 x 128 DSP engine operates at 96 kHz, with each channel independently routed and processed, while latency remains as low as 0.3 ms. AES67 and MADI are included as standard, with Dante available via an expansion card, giving users the flexibility to integrate dMix128 into a wide range of professional audio environments.

Designed to operate as either a standalone mixer or part of a larger networked audio environment, dMix128 also offers extensive scalability. Up to four units can currently operate with sample-accurate synchronization. Built-in cloud monitoring gives integrators and operators remote visibility of system health, network performance, processor utilization and thermal conditions.
