Waves Atlas Reverb Plug-in — A Mix Product of the Week

New York, NY (August 7, 2026)—Waves has introduced a new flagship reverb plug-in, Atlas Reverb. Atlas employs a newly developed, fully algorithmic reverb engine that produces more than 100 reverb programs tuned by the folks at Waves to create depth, movement and musical space. Some of these reverbs were inspired by classic DSP reverb units that shaped countless records, while others are distinct new reverbs, each designed from the ground up.

In contrast to convolution reverbs, which create a static space using impulse responses, Atlas generates reflections in real time, allowing its reverbs to react and evolve with the source material. Atlas is said to provide vocals, drums, guitars, and synths a sense of depth and dimension through realistic, original spaces such as Halls, Rooms, Chambers, Plates and Springs, as well as imagined spaces including Signature Halls and Dreamscapes. The plug-in also includes the company’s interpretation of iconic digital reverbs.

A streamlined UI facilitates auditioning dramatically different spaces quickly, while a focused set of controls, including pre-delay, decay, damping, ducker and EQ, allows users to blend each reverb naturally into the mix.

Low-latency architecture and efficient CPU performance make Atlas applicable for demanding studio sessions and live mixing.

Atlas Reverb is included in the Waves Ultimate plug-in subscription, in the Mercury, Pro Show and SD7 Pro Show bundles, and is also available as a stand-alone plug-in at an introductory price of $99.99; regular price is $149.
